Sophia Bossong, Graduate Student Intern
Sophia believes that therapy is a team effort. She values working alongside her clients to better understand their experiences, identify meaningful goals, and build practical tools for change. Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and Family Systems to help clients gain insight, challenge unhelpful patterns, and move toward the life they want.
She has a special interest in supporting clients through anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, athletes, and performance-related stress. Sophia takes a strengths-based approach and is passionate about helping clients recognize their resilience and potential.
Sophia is a graduate student at Richmont Graduate University, earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a projected graduation date of May 2027.
Sophia believes that growth happens in both big moments and small steps, and she celebrates progress of all kinds with her clients. She is committed to creating a supportive environment where individuals feel encouraged to show up as themselves and take meaningful steps forward.
Credentials
Sophia is in the process of earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University.
Sophia received her B.S. in Psychology from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
