Derek is a counseling intern in his third year of graduate school at Richmont Graduate University. He is in the process of earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a projected graduation date of May 2027.

Derek is passionate about helping people find greater joy and satisfaction in their relationship with others and with themselves. Derek meets with clients working through life transitions, anxiety, depression, men’s issues, relational issues, spirituality, religious trauma, self esteem issues, grief, and trauma. His approach to counseling stems from a cognitive behavioral approach that aims to understand how we see ourselves, others, and the world. Derek is grateful to walk alongside his clients in their  journey of growth, understanding, and wholeness and would be glad to have the opportunity to join you in yours
